Inspired by Victorian storybook illustrations, but also wanting to make them modern. I set out to create new characters & stories while keeping the charm of our childhood favourites. Critters are nostalgic & bring back memories of fun, warmth, & joy.
Established in 2014.
Now, after feeling like I have more or less accomplished that goal (there will always be room for growth and experimentation). I now what to add another piece into my catalogue. And something that I heard from customers during my markets with my mugs in 2025, if that you were interested in bowls. Lucky, because me too!
As I'm slowly exploring ceramics and the best methods for me to make, sell, and enjoy the entire process I'm also considering what custom mug production looks like for my practice. I've already done a couple custom mug drops and people have been quick to scoop up those spots, but as I develop my custom process I anticipate that things will shift and morph into something that looks most manageable for me.
