Now, after feeling like I have more or less accomplished that goal (there will always be room for growth and experimentation). I now what to add another piece into my catalogue. And something that I heard from customers during my markets with my mugs in 2025, if that you were interested in bowls. Lucky, because me too!

Time for a new artist statement

As I'm slowly exploring ceramics and the best methods for me to make, sell, and enjoy the entire process I'm also considering what custom mug production looks like for my practice. I've already done a couple custom mug drops and people have been quick to scoop up those spots, but as I develop my custom process I anticipate that things will shift and morph into something that looks most manageable for me.

I wanted to share my step by step process of taking my watercolour illustrations from my sketchbook to their final product. Let me know if you'd like more details!

My main focus has been mugs and ornaments. The ornaments won't be available for purchase until the fall/holiday season, but the mugs will be ready for my next market!

I'm excited to start offering ceramic pieces this year!

I've made some tough decisions for the 2025 market season

When you do any kind of creative work, you're bound to get the question: Where do you get your inspiration? And while everyone will have a hundred different responses to this in their own art practice alone, I thought I'd share 5 ways in which I get inspiration with you.

The Marvel Bunnies always have a soft spot in my heart, both because of my love for Marvel and because of the reception the Bunnies have gotten!

I've decided that I will be keeping a few of the crowd favourites in my shop more-or-less on an on going basis (Steve, Wanda, Loki, and Peter), but some of the characters I've decided to retire.

And here we are, pretty much at the end of the build. With the exception of the fridge and the end of the cabinet around that, I've finished the van. In this post I take you through the walls, cabinet/bed, painting, sink/toilet, and the sewing projects. Pulling these things together was so hard, but really rewarding because at the end of each step things became closer and closer to the finish line.

Wiring/electrical, auto carpeting, ceiling paneling, and the floor. A few challenges in this portion of the build, especially with the floor. But this is when things really started to feel like a camper van and I got even more excited about having this ready for trips!
